Itasca, IL – Wheat Ridge Ministries recently approved six grants to assist new ministries of health and hope throughout the world.
“We are very pleased to fund these six very different models of new ministry,” said Mr. Brian Becker, Vice President for Ministry Programs. “These projects will address important issues such as helping impoverished senior citizens step out of isolation, providing care and counseling for immigrants, developing needed services for at-risk youth, supporting individuals affected by cancer, and offering key parenting and life skills for adults.”

Redeemer Center for Life, Inc. is launching The Living Room, a community center that will provide a variety of adult life skills (parenting, interviewing, etc.) while promoting holistic health and facilitating stability in the diverse surrounding community.
